1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ManiKVault — including creating an account, browsing listings, or submitting any data — you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree, you must not use this platform.

These terms apply to all users including guests, explorers, traders, students, and business account holders.

2. Account Tiers & Access

ManiKVault operates a tiered access model:

Guest — limited browsing with no account required. Restricted to a limited number of stone views.
Trader — full access to private inventory management, cloud sync, and marketplace listing. Requires verified registration.
Student / Business — additional tiers with specific access levels as defined at the time of upgrade.

Access levels may be changed, restricted, or revoked at any time at the sole discretion of ManiKVault. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms.

3. Marketplace Listings

All stones listed publicly on the ManiKVault marketplace must hold a valid certificate from a recognized gemological laboratory. Listing a stone without a verified certificate is not permitted.

By submitting a listing, you confirm that:

You are the rightful owner of the stone or are authorized to sell it.
All information provided is accurate and not misleading.
The certificate details are genuine and verifiable.
The stone has not been reported stolen or is subject to any legal dispute.

ManiKVault does not act as a buyer, seller, or intermediary in any transaction. All trades are conducted directly between parties. ManiKVault accepts no liability for the outcome of any transaction made through the platform.

4. Data Collection & Privacy

We collect only the data necessary to operate the platform. This includes your name, email, phone, country, city, and account credentials provided at registration.

Your private inventory data — stones added but not pushed to cloud — remains on your device and is never transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly choose to sync.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data shared with ecosystem partners (GemStok, TraceGems, GS Chat) is governed by the respective privacy policies of those services, all operating under the IntoGemology ecosystem.

Your data, your control. Private inventory stays private until you push it. Cloud-synced data is stored securely and is only visible to you unless you choose to list publicly. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

5. Intellectual Property & Code Protection

All rights reserved. The ManiKVault platform, including but not limited to its source code, design, architecture, database structure, algorithms, UI components, branding, and written content, is the exclusive intellectual property of IntoGemology and its founders.

You are strictly prohibited from:

Copying, reproducing, or replicating any part of the platform's code, design, or functionality.
Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling any part of the software.
Using any automated tool, scraper, or bot to extract data or code from the platform.
Creating derivative works based on ManiKVault's design or codebase without written permission.
Claiming ownership of or attempting to patent any concept, feature, or system that originates from this platform.

Violations of intellectual property rights will be pursued to the fullest extent permitted by law, including civil and criminal proceedings where applicable.

6. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not use ManiKVault to:

List fraudulent, stolen, or misrepresented gemstones.
Impersonate another trader, dealer, or gemological laboratory.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.
Interfere with the operation or security of the platform.
Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content of any kind.
Engage in money laundering or use the platform to facilitate illegal transactions.

7. Limitation of Liability

ManiKVault is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IntoGemology and ManiKVault shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including losses from trades, data loss, or service interruptions.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users of significant changes.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from the use of this platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
